A Little About Me

I’m Alex J. Schmidt, Head of Marketing at Cross Heating, a leading HVAC contractor serving Guelph to Kincardine. Born and raised in Waterloo, I graduated from Conestoga College’s Advertising and Marketing Communications program and have been working in the field since before I finished school in 2021. Over the years, I’ve done a bit of everything from freelance work, to agency life, and now leading marketing in-house.

I’ve always believed advertising should stand out, not blend in. To me, great creative is a form of art, something that can stick in your mind long after you’ve seen it.

My focus is on building campaigns that cut through the corporate clutter and leave an impression that lasts.
